Use your lactate threshold to set-up your training program for the coming season. The purpose of the LT test is to determine the level of intensity above which your body begins to accumulate lactic acid. Testing will reveal your power and heart rate at LT, key elements in determining your specific training zones. Lactate measurements are performed using a Lactate Pro portable lactate meter. Cycling tests are performed on a Computrainer.
The Spinscan pedal stroke analyzer helps increase your power and efficiency. The left/right leg percentage power splits give you instant feedback needed to improve your ability to pedal in "circles." The analysis will identify dead spots in your pedal stroke, and can show you how your stroke looks and feels as you make changes to remove the dead spots and improve your overall riding efficiency.
Performed by trained fit technicians, the basic fit, starting with cleat position and working upward, includes seat height adjustment, saddle fore and aft placement and recommendations on stem changes necessary to get you in the most comfortable and efficient riding position.
RMR represents the calories your body uses to maintain vital body functions (heart rate, brain function, breathing). In simple terms, it is the number of a calories a person would burn if awake, but at rest, all day without activity or exercise. The RMR test is a simple test lasting 15-20 minutes, which involves breathing into a disposable mouthpiece while your oxygen consumption is measured. The higher your resting metabolic rate, the more calories you burn. This test is a great way to measure the effectiveness of your current nutrition and exercise program. No more averages or guessing about how many calories you should consume.
All 4 tests can be purchased for $175. This is a great way to get baseline pre-season information. Testing will be performed before check-in. Information on times will be sent with your confirmation.
